Eric Layton (me) is narrating in a compilation of the do-it-yourself solar systems. So far it is up to about 1.2 to 1.5 kW depending on the amount of sun. Full battery system installed.

New DIY Solar Installation Video
This is my video I just put on YouTube of a project that I was working on with my father and sister at my farm. This is a 1.5 kW system with solar panels that I have bought or received from my many solar projects. I have several videos on my YouTube channel www.YouTube.com/nuclearboy2003.

Been a Long Time Since My Last Post
It's been quite a while since my last post. My solar company is doing quite well with expansion into solar hot water and into solar electric in other states (besides Florida). It seems that solar hot water is much more popular, namely because it's cheaper, more cost effective, and we have a finance plan for solar hot water systems.
I am in the process of starting a solar education channel on YouTube where I teach students (like a Khan Academy if you have heard of it) on my spare time. I am definitely looking forward to starting that in the coming months. My current YouTube channel is www.YouTube.com/nuclearboy2003 and www.YouTube.com/ericlaytonsolar. I discuss solar and biofuel projects or presentations on these YouTube channels. I want to set up a new channel or use my "Eric Layton Solar" channel to start teaching viewers about solar energy and more advanced concepts about solar.

It's now August of 2012 and many new projects have happened since my last post. I started a large solar project over 400 kilowatts (that's over 1,000 solar panels!) in Alabama as well as starting solar hot water projects in South Florida. The new launch of my website www.IRE-Global.com has helped give my company new direction as well as business in the last several months.
